What we collect when you enquire
- Your enquiry: what you type into the consultation form — your name, phone number and the details of your project — is sent to our lead-management platform, run by Graft Systems, which stores it and alerts us by email so we can call you back.
- Calls: when you ring 028 9622 1714, the call is routed to us through our call-handling provider (GoHighLevel). Missed calls create a callback reminder for us, using your number and the time you called.
- Where your enquiry came from:only if you agree to optional cookies, we record the source of your visit (for example a Google or Facebook ad, including advertising click identifiers) so we know what is working. If you choose “Essential only”, we do not record this.
Cookies
- Essential: one cookie remembering your cookie choice (kept for 180 days), and short-lived storage in your browser tab that stops a form retry creating a duplicate enquiry. These are required for the site to work properly.
- Optional — analytics and lead source: only if you accept, a cookie remembering how you found us (kept for 90 days).
- Optional — advertising measurement: only if you accept, measurement by Google (Google Ads) and, when we run Facebook or Instagram adverts, by Meta. These tell the advertising platform that an enquiry happened so we can see which adverts pay for themselves. Neither loads, sets cookies or receives anything before you accept.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, gives us aggregate visit counts without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
Why we process this
To respond to your enquiry, arrange and carry out work you ask us about, keep a record of the job, and — only with your consent — understand which of our advertising brings genuine enquiries. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and job records are kept for as long as we need them to respond to you, carry out and stand over the work, and meet our legal obligations; we review what we hold rather than keeping things indefinitely. The cookie lifetimes are stated above. If you would like something removed sooner, ask.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, and to receive a copy. Contact us at smmbuildingservices@gmail.com and we will deal with it. If you are unhappy with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changing your mind
You can reopen at any time from the bottom of any page and switch to “Essential only”. From that moment we stop recording lead sources and stop all optional advertising measurement for you. Information that has already been sent under your earlier choice cannot be recalled by this site, but no more will follow.
